About Me and My Gap Year

Why I’ve lived in 7 cities and 4 continents and went against all those around me and decided to take a gap year

After graduating from Eton, I felt a sense of uncertainty about my future. I had known nothing but grades and exams for 5 years. I felt lost in the vast expanse of the real world. As a result, I decided to take a gap year to explore my interests and gain clarity. Originally, I planned to study Mechanical Engineering at NYU, a path my parents strongly supported. However, as I embarked on this journey, I realized that my true passion lay elsewhere. During this time, I met amazing mentors and successful business people who inspired and guided me. These experiences opened my eyes to the transformative potential of renewable energy and battery storage. Engaging in conversations and projects with industry leaders ignited a drive within me for sustainable technologies. This journey of self-discovery has solidified my decision to pursue a career in renewable energy, where I can contribute to creating a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.
